Effective 1 May 2023, NUTEC Group appointed Gerardo Muraira as its new President, Fibers Division. For nearly eight years previously, Gerardo headed up the group’s North American subsidiary, NUTEC Inc.

Gerardo commented: “I know this appointment carries great responsibility – I am very happy and eager to get working with it all, and I’m relishing this new challenge. Without a doubt we have a great team, and I’m confident of continuing success in this journey.”

Gerardo first joined NUTEC back in 1997, and has had leadership roles with NUTEC Bickley, NUTEC Fibratec, and NUTEC Inc. He holds an MBA in International Business and a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He also completed an executive management program at IPADE Business School.
