Effective 1 May 2023, NUTEC Group appointed Gerardo Muraira as its new President, Fibers Division. For nearly eight years previously, Gerardo headed up the group’s North American subsidiary, NUTEC Inc.

Flares are hot chambers used to burn off any excess hydrocarbon gases which cannot be efficiently recovered or recycled. Often flares are used in remote extraction or processing locations, and anywhere there aren’t pipelines to transport waste gases.

NUTEC Group has announced that effective February 1, 2023, Genaro F. Cueva will step down from the position of CEO, remaining in his position as Chairman of the Board. He will be replaced as CEO by Daniel Llaguno, currently President, NUTEC Fibers division. Transition had been announced internally back in September 2022.
